Hello dear readers (I know you are out there lol)
Felt like chatting, so thought I would start with a captive audience ;)
I have been busily baking cupcakes today. Zoe will be turning 5 tomorrow (I will cry). I swear she was only born yesterday!! My dear girl was born on 10/10 at 10:10pm. Pretty amazing! I have baked 60 cakes, and every one of them turned out beautifully. This has not happened in some time, so I am hoping it bodes well for the big day itself. Zo will be getting a barbie car for her birthday ($50 with 2 barbies, $20 with no barbies - wasn't a hard choice as she already has a couple here at home!) as well as some depserately needed new clothes. I took her dad shopping for them last week whilst he was on hols which was a good idea, he said yes to things I thought I would never have gotten away with buying (he would have said they were too expensive!) and no to things that I would have bought that she would have hated and I would have loved. If I were shopping alone she would have also ended up with fourteen tops and two skirts, because I would have paid no attention to what I was getting shop to shop, I would have just been thinking how cute she was going to look. See, Dad's do come in handy sometimes! I can just see her in 10 years time dragging him out shopping (so she can use his cash of course lol).
Getting caught up in the excitement that is Zoe's birthday, I almost forgot it is also nearly Emma's!! She is turning three on the 21st. It just doesn't seem right, she is my baby!! My baby has been coming along in leaps and strides lately, her vocabulary has gone through the roof, and she has also night trained herself. She declared no more nappies, and we were hesitant, but she has not had a single wet night. I am so proud of her :) She is getting a Dora with twins toy thingy for her birthday, she is still very much obsessed with the spanish speaking 7yo, though Hi-5 are starting to sneak in there too. I'm sure Em won't bother dragging Dad out for shopping, she will just give him the bill at the end!
Jack is going so well in swimming lessons. He has gone from being a timid child, scared of the water and ADAMANT that he would not put his face in the water, to a child who I now cannot keep out of the pool. THANKS Mr David (Zoe says you are funny too!). Miss Gaby has been working hard with them both as well, and whilst I am sure neither of them will ever read this, it is much appreciated.
Well, I am off to ice these cupcakes, and hang up the washing, and pick my son up from school, and take them to swimming lessons, and feed the kids tea, and and and and and....you can relate, I know it ;)
Hope you are all fitting in far more stamping than I am lately!
Cass
