How to colour white flowers

Supplies

Colouring using re-inker

1. Take re-inker and squeeze a few drops onto the lid of the same coloured inkpad (you can also use a plate etc, however this way the ink is not wasted). I have used Purely Pomegranate.

2. Pick up a some of the ink using a blender pen.

3. Apply ink to flower using as shown. Use a little to start with, you can apply more to create a more vibrant colour bit by bit - sometimes less is more!

4. The finished flower.

Colouring using inkpad

1. Pick up some ink from the inkpad using the blender pen. I have used Purely Pomegranate.

2. Apply to flower.

3. Finished flower.

Colouring with Stampin' Pastels

1. Take a sponge dauber and pick up the colour of your choice from the Stampin' Pastels palette..

2. Apply directly to the flower. I used a dabbing motion, but also rubbed it on a bit - whatever works!

3. Finished flower. You could also use the applicators provided with the Pastels to colour, I just love sponge daubers.

Colouring with Markers

1. Colour directly onto flower using colour of your choice. I have used pale plum. Try not to linger in one spot too long, or some areas will be much darker than others.

2. The finished flower. Now, to add some interest...

1. Take a different maker (I have used Perfect Plum as I wanted a monochromatic look, but you could choose a completely different colour if you wanted to) and colour in the edges of the flower.

2. The finished flower. I plan to add a Rhinestone brad in the middle when I make a card with it, so have left the centre alone.

Colouring using Watercolor Wonder Crayons

1. Colour the flower directly with the crayon of your choice. I have chosen Charcoal (from the neutral range).

2. Coloured flower. Now to make it pretty...

3. Spray liberally with water using a water mister. I have used an old Stampin' Mist bottle filled with plain water.

3. A very wet, but finished flower. Wait for it to dry before moving it, or you'll get crayon everywhere!
