From Carrie... I am beyond words...

I received this card from Carrie last week, but in the lost camera situation, I couldn't share it with you all.
Carrie is someone who came into my life via Stampin' Up!, and not only is she a valued team member, but she is a dear friend. I am so grateful for her friendship (and her husband's mechanical advice lol)
We have now known each other for very long, only a few months, but I feel as though we have known each other forever.
Apart from being a good friend, she is an awesome stamper! (can you believe she had never stamped prior to meeting me!) The photograph hardly does this card justice, but she has used the 'baby wipe' technique to get the background, and then used artfully asian for the rest of the card.
I won't tell you what she wrote inside, because it brought me to tears, but the feeling is mutual :)

I received this card from loyal blog reader Robyn A last week.
Thanks so much darl, I LOVE it! The saying is so true, and I definately look like the girl in the stamp *wink*. Love the edging and the glitter, and you've given me some ideas for the cuttlebug folder, I have it too!

Kids cards for Ronald McDonald House

Hi everyone,

I am putting the call out for donations of kids cards, or cardfronts or stamped images that I can easily put together for Ronald McDonald House. I am also asking for matching bookmarks to go inside the cards as a small gift for the children. The bookmarks would need to be 14x4cm, and stamped. They do not need to be heavily embellished, I can add ribbons and fibres to the tops when they arrive if necessary.

The staff at RMH take the cards and give them to the sick children on their birthdays, and it really brings a smile to the kids' faces when they receive a card that is handmade with love.

I make some every so often, and send them on, and this time I thought I would include you all. I know we are all having a busy holiday season, but if you could take the time to stamp some images, make some cardfronts, or some cards to bring a smile to the children's faces, it would be appreciated all round.

You can send them to me, and I will forward them on.
